Azam Owaisi is a seasoned leader with a wealth of experience in senior leadership roles within various large multinational companies. He transforms vision into reality through strategy development. An inspirational leader, he drives action while remaining rooted in the financial and operational aspects that steer the business. Azam has played a pivotal role in achieving double-digit growth and profitability in his various roles. He has actively collaborated in M&A activities to focus on strategic growth markets.

He currently serves as CEO of North America for GEA Corporation, a multinational manufacturing company based in Germany, operating in the Food & Beverage and pharmaceutical industries, with an annual turnover of 5 billion. He has also held leadership positions in several Fortune 500 companies, such as Danaher Corporation, ITW, IDEX, and Dover Corporation. Additionally, he has held senior leadership roles in large international companies such as Mitsubishi Electric.

Previously, as General Manager of OPW (A Dover Company), he led international sales, manufacturing, and operations across North America, Europe, and Asia. He has worked overseas in Japan and China, providing him with a deep understanding of the global market.

Azam holds an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management (Northwestern University) and a BSEE from the University of Illinois. He has also completed courses at Harvard Business School and IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland.
